Know the Fabric Before You Choose
Each fabric has a different thread density and surface, so the finished batik differs — from the sharpness of the motif to the overall feel. Fine, smooth fabrics generally show motifs more clearly and are comfortable to wear, while textured fabrics give uniforms and clothing a different character.
